UNEC’s Academic Building No. 2 consists of two instructional facilities and is located at 135 Hasan Aliyev Street, Narimanov District.
One of the buildings has 5 floors with a total area of 9759.5 sq.m., while the second building has 7 floors with a total area of 4153.6 sq.m. The sports hall comprises 1 floor with an area of 778.3 sq.m.
Within the academic complex, rooms allocated for administrative and academic structural units occupy 5215.15 sq.m., lecture halls account for 5250.35 sq.m., laboratories for 127.5 sq.m., the library room for 376.68 sq.m., the cafeteria for 533.88 sq.m., sports halls for 995.52 sq.m., archive rooms for 456.51 sq.m., the assembly hall for 493.46 sq.m., and the medical point for 137.65 sq.m.

In 2007, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev,
and the First Lady, Mehriban Aliyeva, attended the official opening
ceremony of UNEC’s Academic Building No. 2.
The faculties located in the second academic complex are: Economics and Management, Russian School of Economics, Faculty of Turkic World of Economics, and the Center for Correspondence and Continuing Education.
